On April 19, 2016, I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer - it was found early, and I am cancer free - I am a SURVIVOR! I have always been a healthy person and didn't have to use the healthcare system much personally - until then. I now have had more experience with it than I would have chosen, but it has afforded me an opportunity to relate with my clients on another level. I'm thankful and blessed for everyday that I am able to share my story and help someone else.
My father suffered from TIAs (mini strokes) and dementia. Unfortunately, he needed caregiving at home and ultimately had to enter into a nursing home for the last several years of his life. I understand how hard it is on a spouse or a child to make the decision to place their loved one into a long term care facility. Sometimes you just need to know that someone cares and is listening to your needs and concerns when you have them and are trying to work your way through this confusing healthcare system. I assure you that I am here to do that for you.
